After finishing his studies in mathematics, computer science and economics at the University of Mannheim, Julian founded Aliru GmbH in 2015. Over the following years he built IT solutions for large enterprises and pioneered the use of AI in business processes. DeepScript came out of that work: a transcription service running entirely on own infrastructure in Germany, because the clients Julian was building for were not allowed to hand their recordings to US cloud providers.
