Is DeepScript actually GDPR compliant and Otter isn't?
Otter.ai is technically GDPR-compliant via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for US data transfers. After the Schrems II ruling, many European data-protection authorities are skeptical of SCCs for sensitive sectors. DeepScript avoids the US transfer entirely — your data never leaves Germany and our DPAs are real EU-to-EU agreements under Art. 28 GDPR.
Can I use DeepScript via API the way I connect Otter to Zapier?
Yes. DeepScript ships a REST API with OpenAPI 3.1 spec, webhooks for transcription-completed events, and an MCP server. You can upload an .mp3, poll the result or receive it via webhook, and pipe everything to your CRM / DMS. Quickstart docs at [/docs](/docs).
How does DeepScript compare to Otter on accuracy?
On standard English recordings both engines are comparable (>95% word accuracy). On DACH dialects and mixed German-English audio DeepScript leads — our Premium model is trained on Swiss German, Austrian and Low German. Otter's model is primarily tuned for US English.
Can I migrate Otter transcripts to DeepScript?
